New ports initiative good for business
The ‘teaming up’ of Auckland and Napier Ports plus Icepak NZ is not only good for them it’s good for business says Michael Barnett, Chief Executive of the Auckland Chamber of Commerce.
The new partnership delivers an extended supply chain for the Auckland and New Zealand central region. It provides better use of the combined distribution networks of the Ports which will be good for importers and exporters.
The partnership is also good for central North Island economic development as it delivers business efficient access to local networks that are linked to global networks which will assist regional growth.
