Seeking: Company Accountant/Financial Accountant/Management Accountant/Cost Analysis/IT Management
Successful, results driven accountant with strong technical skills in management and financial accounting, comfortable utilising financial information systems to produce reporting in a variety of industries, from start-up businesses to financial management. I also have an excellent understanding of cost analysis, preparation of tax returns, as well as the investigation and resolution of financial irregularities.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Highly experienced at completing end of period reporting and accounting, including cash books NZD and FOREX, all end of period bank and balance sheet reconciliations including general ledger journals and accruals
- Proficient at provisions and prepayments, intercompany transactions and reconciliations, subsidiary reconciliations, aged trial balances, payroll reconciliations, fixed assets, deferred revenue, cost centre accounting, margin analysis, budgets and forecasts
- Preparation of tax returns, company and residual tax, GST, FBT, PAYE, ACC, NRWT, RWT
- Fresh ideas to improve reports, including well-reasoned and focused reporting analysis and design
Computer skills include: MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), SQL report writing in SAP, MS Great Plains (ERP), SAP Multinational (ERP) , SME Versions (ERP), Comacc Payroll, QuickBooks - Reckon
Qualifications: Bachelor of Business in Accountancy and Information Technology
