    The Chamber’s Vital Training seminars and courses combine the latest tips, trends, and business tools with expert business knowledge, techniques and information available. Areas include: sales, telesales, business planning, debt collection, networking, people management, telephone and reception skills, and much more.
     
  • TRAINING NEEDS ANALYSIS
    We can assist to identify skills gaps with a training needs analysis.
     
  • CUSTOM COURSEWARE
    We offer development and design of exclusive training courseware, tailored to your environment. Examples of these are customer retention and customer service training together with change management, people management, time and stress reduction to name a few.
     
  • SPECIAL DEAL FOR MEMBERS

Over the last five years Chamber surveys have revealed that 40-50% of Auckland firms continue to have difficulty finding the right people with the right skills. The Chamber assists members recruit staff at no cost - by helping them tap into groups of job seekers that their current recruitment practises are missing. Services include:

    Connects highly skilled and motivated parents returning to the workforce with employers who can provide, or would consider providing, a flexible workplace. One of the highest demand vacancies we receive through this programme is for administrative staff.
     
  • NEW KIWIS LOCAL
    Connects highly qualified migrants living in New Zealand with employers throughout New Zealand. Through www.newkiwis.co.nz members can advertise job vacancies and search for suitable candidates online.
     
  • NEW KIWIS GLOBAL
    Connects job vacancies with the skills of a global market of job seekers. Through www.newkiwis.co.nz members can advertise job vacancies and search for suitable candidates from a database of potential migrants actively seeking employment in New Zealand.
     
  • MIGRANT KIWIS EMPLOYMENT & PROJECT WORK
    Matches highly skilled migrants in specific industries with employers needing a helping hand free of charge to the business. The candidate is available for up to 8 weeks in a work experience capacity, with the aim that this work experience placement will evolve into a permanent employment position.
     
  • CADETMAX
    Helps businesses looking for reliable cadets or apprentices, who want to launch the careers of talented 16 - 19 year olds. The Chamber sources, assesses and prepares candidates for employment. The programme includes mentoring the cadets as well as supporting the employer with a structured development process throughout the first year.
